a deliberate softness of motion

The moment I wake up

“The Moment I Wake Up” captures the liminal hush between night and day, when the world seems to breathe in before exhaling light. The artist employs a deliberate softness of motion, blurring the horizon into layered bands of violet, rose, and deep indigo, evoking the stillness of early consciousness. The absence of defined form invites the viewer into a purely sensory experience—one that mirrors the internal quiet of waking, when reality is felt before it is fully seen.
This work is less a depiction of a seascape than a study of transition itself, using color and movement to translate the fragile, half-dreaming state where perception begins to sharpen and the day slowly comes into focus.
